Had on tap. Ombre orange murky body, white head, spotted lacing. Aromas of banana, wheat, clove, black pepper, bready yeast and orange zest in that order of intensity. Taste is much the same, the finish is marked by the wheat snap and even more so by the earthy spices. Full is fuller yet the finish is pretty crisp with the wheat snap and spiced notes

Had on tap at the brewery.
This beer pours a cloudy white-yellow in color.
There’s a nice aroma of banana and clove that develops as it opens. The flavor has a pleasing and somewhat funky (in a good way) flavor with banana and clove on it. True to the style.

Dousman Street Wheat
Enjoyed on tap at Titletown on June 11th. Served in Weissbier Vase, nicely chilled...
A) Cloudy straw yellow brew, with a good finger of white foamy head. Decent retention, light lacing.
S) Wheaty/yeasty, banana, light fruity aroma, with the expected accompanying spices, mainly clove.
T) See above... This was a quality Hefeweizen right here. Very nice flavor...
M) Fairly light bodied, with a good amount of carbonation. This was crisp, refreshing, super easy drinking. Perfect for a warm day.
O) This is exactly what a very good Hefeweizen should be... Glad to recommend.
Paired with the fried cheese curds

I had this beer on tap at the Titletown Brewery in Green Bay.
The beer poured a cloudy gold color which is natural for a hefeweizen, but whar wasn't natural was the lack of a head. Most hefeweizens I've tried fill up half the glass with foam on even an easy pour, but this one didn't even produce a half finger of white head and it left only minimal lacing.
As for the smell - can you say bananas? I thought I was in a banana jungle. Huge banana smell along with a clove background.
The taste was awesome. Nice malty background along with the banana and clove flavors that were in the smell. I really liked the taste of this.
The carbonation is pretty high but it worked well here. Spritzy, light, and fruity mouthfeel.
I could down a bunch of these and in fact, I did order another one. The 5.5% alcohol is not even tasted. Despite it's anemic appearance, this was one of the best tasting hefeweizens I have ever had.

On tap as part of the TBC sampler. One of the standouts. Pours a yellow cloudy color. Strong wheaty smell. Has a bit of a straw taste, full of wheat, quite tasty and hearty. Well carbonated in the mouthfeel. Very good drinkability, if I was going for a full pint, this would be at the top of my list.

Served in a pint glass at the brewpub.
Pours a cloudy straw color with orange hues with a two finger white head with great retention and light lacing. The usual banana, wheat and clove aromas. Banana, clove, crisp wheat flavors mix with a lemon hoppy finish and a sour yeast flavor that lingers. Light body, medium carbonation, very crisp and clean, easy drinking.

This beer reviewed as part of a sampler platter at the brewpub. The pour is of a cloudy and hazy gold to orange. This is topped with a small but compact white head.. The nose is dominated by a banana aroma. There is a light quenching bosy to this beer as designed. The flavor is citrusy, the mouthfeel does go a bit syrupy and the it dries out in the aftertaste.

Dousman Street Wheat is a hefe weizen unlike many others I have sampled over the years. This has been my favorite style for a number of years due to the spiciness of the brew and the low alcohol content makes it a perfect session beer.
Beer did not have a large frothy head and was a darker yellow that most hefe weizen I have enjoyed. Beer had a familiar banana aroma, but the taste did not leave a bit of zest in my mouth, little or no spice. I thought this may have been sitting for a while, but my wonderful server Laura assured me that they had just tapped this barrell. This beer is an average reoresentative of the style, but its bland taste leaves something to be desired.

Hzy golden...no head...nice cloves and bananas on the nose....nice banana sweetness on the palate....too flat for the satyle....creamy texture....thinner side of medium bodied...not bad tasting...the banana notes are nice...but the flatness drops this score some...

Slightly hazy straw yellow beer. Clearer than most hefes I've enjoyed in the past. A frothy white head diminishes to a slight coating rather quickly. Aroma is of banana, pepper and clove. Nicely carbonated for the style. Medium body and quite thirst quenching. Solid enough version of a weizen.
