I was back in Green Bay for work and made sure to include some time at Title Town.
The Gratzer is a smoked wheat ale served in a imperial pint glass.
The beer is a straw yellow with excellent clarity. It has a white head and really nice lacing.
It has a nose of smoke, grains and a bit of band aid.
The smoke taste is not overpowering. It's the main attraction but there is some wheat malt and a bit of noble hops that make their presence known.
The mouth is mid-level and a bit creamy.
I liked it, but one a night is about right for me.

Had on tap. Clear golden body with a white cap, lacing. Old world hops finish aromas of wheat, grains, and smoke. Taste is very bright yet grainy, smoke feel like a compliment when I want it to star, still good representation of style overall. Feel is verging towards watery after the initial burst of smoke and wheatiness.
