Serving: On tap at the brewpub
Served: 3 Jan 2016
First new beer of 2016
Appearance: Pours a light yellow color with a soapy white head that doesn't stick around too long. Clear, with plenty of carbonation visible in the glass.
Smell: Not much malt present in the nose. Hop notes of citrus, grapefruit, and wet yard waste.
Taste: Unfortunately, I found that the dank hop notes dominated in this beer over the brighter citrus and pine ones. I'm just not a huge dank hop guy.
Mouthfeel: Light body with high carbonation. Quaffable.
Overall: I think I would like this beer better if I liked the hop combination used, but the dank hoppiness just isn't for me. Check this one out if you like that style of hops, otherwise skip it.
