Titletown Brewery Jolly Roger IPA
Enjoyed on tap at Titletown Brewery. Served chilled in a 20 oz Nonick pint glass.
A) Hazy amber with a thin head that settled to a collar. No lacing....
S) Malt forward aroma is slightly sweet, and a bit bready. Some earthy hops too.
T) Decent balance with this brew... Follows the nose.... A little caramel sweetness. A bit bready as well. The hops are earthy, with a little grass and flower petal.
M) Medium body... The carbonation was pretty soft... Not flat, but maybe could have used a little more life. The aftertaste was nice...
O) I enjoyed this beer... Not as much as the Cromulent Ale I had after it, but it was worth a try. Not one of my personal favorites from Titletown, but still solid. Bottom line is, if I'm visiting Green Bay, I will be making an appearance at this brewery.
Paired with deep fried cheese curds.

I enjoyed this beer from the comfort of my own living room. Poured into a growler at the Brewery a few weeks back and drank from a standard pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a clear, burnt orange color with a thick white head that stuck around but then didn't leave much lacing.
Smell: Not much going on here. Light, floral hops and malt.
Taste: Grassy hops balanced nicely with the malts.
Mouthfeel: Decent carbonation with a sticky, medium mouthfeel.
Drinkability: Decent brew, but wouldn't seek out again. Titletown has better beers to offer that I would grab first. Probably partly my fault for sitting on this beer until roughly the end of its life.
