Call me crazy, but I thought this was absolutely deliciuos. Have not found all that many beers that are enhanced by the gin barrel flavor, but this was definitely one of them. The underlying base beer saison was quite delicious (usual honey and spice), but the gin added another dimension, and seemed to help dry out some of the sweetness you get in some saisons. Finish was long and dry, the sour component was dialed way down (something I always appreciate).
Would love to be able to get more of this (though I'm resigned to the fact that this is unlikely).
