Enjoyed at the Copenhagen Beer Festival. Reviewed from notes.
A - Poured a clear brownish hue with no head, just thin wisps.
S - Aromas of hazelnuts and coffee, light toffee, solid caramel.
T- Taste is similar to the nose with big sweet caramel notes and malts, excellent fresh coffee and ground. Just a little flash of alcohol.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, alcohol hidden nicely.
O - Overall this was a solid english barleywine. Excellent coffee notes on here along with caramel. Really tasty.
