32 oz. crowler. Mostly clear deep orange with an ample head. Smells of strong caramel malt, melon and sweet citrus hops, and some equally fruit and earthy brett notes. Tastes of sweet caramel malt and melon, quickly cut by earthy brett and some deep accompanying bitterness. The brett still lends a shade of bright fruitiness, leaving a lingering brightness and sweetness on the palate battling the strong bitterness. It finishes just a little weird. Medium heavy. It's a classic IPA malt profile. If I think about it too much, I don't love it. If I just drink it, it's good.
