From a 16oz can, dated 12/07/21. Purchased at the brewery 03/01/22. So, almost three months old... hmm? Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a lightly hazed mango-gold with a scant quarter-finger of fizzy head. Zippo retention and a barely rousable super-slippery film of lacing.
Nose is sweet and fruity. Aromas of sticky-type tropical fruits like mango and papaya.
Tastes of thin, slightly sour white wine and composting tangerines. Reminiscent of fruit juice that’s been in the fridge too long.
Feel is juicy, medium bodied and under-carbonated verging on flat.
You know what? I’m not going to waste the calories on this one. No, I shouldn’t be rating three month old hazy ‘DIPAs’ but neither should they be selling them at the actual brewery, I mean, right? Drain pour.
