A: poured dark brown in color with brown highlights and a nice khaki color head that left little wisps of lacing sticking to the glass.
S: mostly toasty sweet malts in the aroma with hints of toffe, very faint coffee and hop notes.
T: the flavor was mostly sweet malts alongside creamy lactic qualities, hints of toffee, very little brown sugar, and a touch of vanilla. Not too much going on as far complexity.
M: the brew was medium in body with a fair amount of carbonation which had a sweet, malty, mild roasty, and slight creamy finish.
O: just a decent porter but was glad to have tried a beer from this brewery.

The beer pours dark brown in color with a tan head. Aroma starts off with a mild sweetness. There is a decent bit of roast along with some toasted malt and a bit of dark chocolate. Maybe some nuttiness to it as well. A strong cocoa flavor accompanied by toffee and just a hint of vanilla (I’m guessing from the barrel aged portion?). The flavor also has a decent roasted and toasted malt character.
