On tap at the Peg’s Berliner Bash. Served in a mini snifter. Pours a nice golden color with a good white head. The nose brings forward a really nice white grape and gooseberry character. The Nelson Sauvin is very noticeable without being over the top. Faintly reminiscent of Amarillo as well. Wheat base and light acidity. Dry and thirst quenching. Another very excellent berliner from 7venth Sun.

Pale yellow/straw with a white head. Nose is sort of sulfury, a little vegetal, maybe some dog food, too. A light grainy note, lemon peel, slightly bacterial. The flavor is a bit better than the nose. Lemon peel, grapefruit, light grain, sulfur, and grass. Little bit of Jolly Rancher, too. Really weird...not a big fan.

NOTE: This is a collaboration with Dunedin Brewery.

Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at Dunedin Brewery. Poured into a pint glass.

A: Pours a hazy light yellow with a one finger white head. There is essentially no carbonation visible through the haze.

S: Somewhat sour and tart, cracker malt, lemon citrus, and yeast.

T: Taste follows the nose well: lemon juice and tartness, yeast, bready malts, sour lemon finish.

M: Light body with a drying finish, absolutely no alcohol presence, nice carbonation sensation on tongue.

O: Very good. It's not as fruity as many of the other berliner-weiss offerings down here in FL. But excellent at what it is - a bit sour & nicely refreshing.
