Bottle #339/900, bottled in February 2013, opened June 2015. Worth the wait, but maybe not the price ($28). Overall very well concocted. Excellent mouth feel. The sour notes are mild - moderate, not overbearing but adds to a very good finish. Very good beer from a very good brewery.

Bottle 368 of 900. Poured from a bottle into a snifter, the beer is a bright, vibrant, peach-gold coloring with a minimal halo of white bubbling on the surface. Aromas of tart and dry white grape forward, woody notes, smooth and rich buttery backbone, some Brett funk creeping in here and there, and some floral notes. Pretty mild and smooth nose. Flavors are crisp and roasted forward, with a solid bolt of chardonnay notes up front, rich buttery character in the backbone, woody and earthy highlights to rough up the edges a bit, and hints of sourness towards the back of the palate. There are some very subtle sugary and citrus notes that dart in and out on the palate, too. Pretty smooth and flavorful, all on a robust body that somehow maintains a light feel. The aftertaste is more of the sweet fruit notes blending together, with a solid dose of sour and tart lingering into the smooth, dry, crisp finish. Solid beer that appears to have aged well.
