Appearance: Arrives the color of honey; the hazy beer has a modest head that leaves some spotty lacing

Smell: Bready, yeasty and grainy, with a hint of coriander

Taste: Bready malts, up front, with a slight sweetness that is typical of BPA; in the middle, the coriander, white pepper and herbal tones build to an interestingly spicy finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; somewhat creamy

Overall: So this is a Seefbier and it one a Silver at the GABF this year in the Belgian-Style Other category; not having been familiar with the style, I would describe it as a cross between a BPA and a wit, though it lacks the orange peel character of a witbier
