This beer was aged on Brettanomyces Bruxellensis in wine barrels for 12 months. 350 lbs of fresh Kalawi Farms Peaches were added to the barrels and were aged for another 10 months. It's tart, refreshing and peachy.

Served this one in a tulip glass. Smell is fruit, some Brett and a little bit of funk. Taste is decent amount of peach flavor. Get the wine barrel right off. The major problem with this beer is that it really tastes and feels watery and that kind of ruined the whole thing for me. If it wasn't for that, I would have enjoyed it. I've yet to find a Mystery brew that I can say that I've liked.

A: Pours a very slightly hazy honey copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising fairly quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint golden yellow + amber highlights. The beer has a half finger tall fizzy foamy beige head that reduces to a mottled thin film covering the majority of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of funky barnyard brett with light aromas of peaches and a touch of sourness.
T: Upfront there is a light flavor of slightly sour wheat malts and just a touch of caramel malts. That is followed by moderate flavors of peaches and moderate to strong flavors of funky farmhouse brett and a moderate amount of tart sourness. Hints of oak from the barrel aging and touches of vinous notes. Minimal amounts of bitterness but a moderate amount of sourness lingers through the finish.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin/watery with a light amount of acidic prickliness.
O: Very interesting with a nice natural peach flavor and aroma that comes through and no hints of anything artificial. Tart/sour but not overbearing and nice wine barrel aging contributions that complement rather than compete with the beers flavors.
