Undrinkable. Too effervescent. Was marked down to $1.99. Now I know why. They should have just tossed the whole lot in the garbage. I'm pretty much done with MBC

Part of the "Hop Forward" winter line.Best by March 03-2013.Poured into an imperial nonic a rich copper/brass with a thinner white head atop,a clear rich pour.Alot of leafy hops in the nose along with what seemed to be some hard water, this was old school with an almost "Midlands" feel to with its hard water notes to it,not sure if intentional but pretty cool.Earthy is the main note up front on the palate with some floral and leafy "green" hops taking center stage, mild toffee underneath thru the duration.Others who review this take the style into consideration before reviewing,it's a very good EIPA borderline great in my mind,it's not a big citric and piney hop bomb and it shouldn't be.A great beer and the 40 IBU's play a nice role.
