My first sour beer. I know it's a mixture of styles, but an interesting first try for me. I feel like I don't know what would make this style great, so this is more of just a personal experience, rather than a review. The lack of wheat was unique. It was very dry and it drank similarly to a white whine. Maybe from the saison yeast? I will give more beers like this a try.

on tap at the brewery.
pours a pale yellow with no head, but with a lot of fizzy bubbles. smell is big on tartness, and the taste is exactly the same. very true to the style. mild acidicity. best described as tart and refreshing. light bodied with low carbonation.
overall lovely . nothing amazing but you get what you expect. recommended.

Pours out with no head and a slight bit of haze. Smell is muted, but hints of lemon and grains of paradise. Great flavor, more lemon but restrained sourness. No hop character, as expected. Moderately low carbonation and bone dry. Great for a hot day!
