On-tap at Final Gravity Brewing Co., Richmond, VA
A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a patch of white bubbles on the surface, a thin collar around the edge, and some streaks of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of fresh grapefruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is very much dominated by grapefruit flavors.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is all about the grapefruit but tastes more like any old ale that has had grapefruit added to it than an IPA.
