Pours a kind of murky haze.
Dank and unripe mango on the nose.
This is dry and lacking in both nose and delivering on flavor. Lots of earthy, Unripe fruit notes. Not enough tropical fruit IMO. Who cares about the thick mouthfeel of the flavor is just eh?
Citra, to me, is a top 2 hop due to its ability to provide both tropical and citrus notes. The tropical notes are what really I want to see shine when I’m having a Citra single hop ale, and that’s where this falls short. This was underwhelming for me.
