Nice semi-transparent golden yellow, with a rich, big head of white foam. Not much in the way of lace, but it's forgivable.

Nose is a crisp citrus hops zing.

Taste is light and citrus-oriented. I get some orange and lemon, but with minimal bittering. This is a lighter than normal pale ale, well session-worthy and enjoyable.

Had on tap at Four Horsemen.

A- Poured a golden yellow color. One and a half finger white head shows good retention. Nice streaks of lace down the glass as I drink this one down.

S- I get some earthy hops in this beer from the get go but they are rather light overall. There is a light cereal grain like aroma which blends together with a light sweetlike malt. Fairly light in the aroma but I could smell some traces of diacetyl once the beer warmed up.

T- Nice crisp hop bite in the front has a little fruitiness to it. This quickly dies off to a rather muted flavor. The malt base shows throughout the beer itself much stronger than the hops do but tastes rather grainy overall. The diacetyl that I smelled comes through much stronger in the flavor about middle of the beer and lingers to the end with a distinct butterscotch flavor. Light bitter hop flavor in the ending with a clean alcohol finish. The beer itself tastes a little watered down.

M- Light mouthfeel. Carbonation was good for the style. Biscuity malts, light citrus hops, and a hint of butterscotch are left on the palate. Aftertaste is bittering hops, hint of alcohol, and biscuity malts. Flavors were a little muted but seemed to go well together. Only off flavor was the diacetyl that lingers from the middle through the rest of the beer. Light alcohol drying on the palate with each sip.

O- The look and aroma of the beer is down well. The flavor is a little off which in time I think they will figure out. Not a bad beer overall except for the infection which I have tasted in this beer a couple of times already. I am one for the lower ABV just wish it burst through will a little more flavor.
