Murky copper red hue.
Huge off-white head; decent lace.
Rye bread & slight citrus nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Subtle caramel note; almost no flavor. Not offensive but incredibly boring.

Decent DIPA on the malty side...sad to see this place go.

Picked up randomly in one of those mix and match things.
Surprisingly dark and cloudy with sediment. Looks like an Amber. Frothy, thick head with long retention and some lacing. Honestly, I found the head annoying as it retained well and was difficult to avoid. Even with a careful pour this is a thick head.
Toasty malts. Light piny hops on the nose. Herbal undertones.
Piny hops on the tongue with a weird, almost metallic bitterness. Funky sweet malts. Grapefruit undertones. It's just a strange beer ... and not in a good way. I wondered if I'd gotten a bad bottle, but reviews here seem to agree with my impression. Taste slightly more tolerable after repeated tastes.
Body is medium thick with light carbonation. Dry.
This tastes like what happens when your buddy first tries home brewing. Something's just not right. This is neither a good example of an IPA nor a good beer, period.

Poured a very nice deep ruddy golden color with nice head and wonderful lacing. Wonderful thick sweet malty scent underneath a wonderfully walloping piney-floral hoppy aroma. Thick malt flavors with nice caramel tones and a a good swirl of deep pine/floral/earthy hops throughout, with a wonderfully bitter (but not cloying) aftertaste that stays on the tongue. Goes down well for such a high ABV brew.
