Live review on tap at Four Horsemen. Poured into shaker pint.
A- Came to me semi-hazed golden orange in color. One finger white head shows light retention. Some light sheets of lace turn streaky quickly. Over a good looking beer per style.
S- Stale citrus hops linger throughout the nose covering the underlying caramel like malts. Bitter rind type of citrus from the hops comes through toward the end. No alcohol presence at all.
T- Light lemon and citrus hop flavor in the front end quickly fades to light bitterness and caramel malts with hints of soapiness. Light hops back in the ending with more soap like qualities and no alcohol to be found anywhere.
M- Medium light mouthfeel. No true off flavored were present but there is a touch of soapiness. Overall flavors are mostly balanced. Light lingering of hops and no alcohol to find.
O- the best attempt from Four Horsemen to date. Maybe these guys are listening to what craft beer drinkers want.
