Gravity halfpint at the Sebright Arms.
A: Clear medium amber body with a thin, transient off-white head. Almost no lace. Meh.
S: Husky, lightly roasty malt. Malty, toasty, and nutty, with some faint chocolate. Ok.
T: Raw maltiness - like the granary at a brewery. Some sweetness follows, and faint bitterness appears on the tail end to lend some balance. Not bad, but fairly rough around the edges.
M: Light, creamy body with carbonation to match. Nice.
O: This one skirts the line between a malty bitter and a weak brown ale, but isn't particularly interesting no matter what you call it.
Cheers!
