A heavy does of Vienna malt gives a chewy background. Belgian yeast offers spicy phenols. Noble hops add to the spice and texture. A traditional, unfiltered Belgian-style pale ale for your enjoyment!

a pretty tasty unfiltered belgian pale ale, a little overly belgian to me, estery and intense on the yeast front, but the hops are nice, and this is a pretty flavorful glass of beer for being so low alcohol, we need more like this. its got a bit of a copper color to it, some crystal type malt evident, a little darker than i would have expected in the style, but with a nice head on it from the tap and not all that cloudy for being unfiltered. some real positives here are the apple and pear and wine notes in the yeast, and how they go with the citrusy hops in this, there is a great synergy there. what i dont like is how intense it is almost the whole time, some phenols from the yeast make this sort of chemically for a moment. the hops have a lot of bitterness to balance the malts, but a little less flavor than they might. good carbonation, fresh flavors abound, and a pretty drinkable glass of beer despite its robustness. one of the better beers from these guys that we had while we were in.
