Belgian-style strong dark ale aged in Tennessee whiskey barrels for 9 months. Vanilla and oak open into sweet maltiness and a pleasant warming finish.

Pours a deep, but translucent, mahogany color, with ample beige foam that leaves behind significant lacing. Smell is candy with a touch of phenol. Taste starts malty and a little sugary, strong alcohol and a little ester come on in the middle. Aftertaste is brandy and a little vanilla. Feel is very smooth and warm, like a cocktail, despite significant carbonation. Overall, this is a very boozy Belgian Ale with nice flavor and strong alcohol.
