Einstök Ölgerð (Einstök Beer Company)

On tap at Einstok Bar in Reykjavik, Iceland.

This one pours a light caramelly looking brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells mostly caramelly, but there’s some chocolate and a bit of dark toasty breadiness.

I can’t really find a ton of information on this one, it seems to be a fairly uncommon seasonal offering from Einstok. It’s nice though, with a very pleasant caramelly and toasty feel to it, and just the lightest hint of bitterness.

This is light bodied, but not thin, and pretty drinkable.

Einstok is maybe the most well known Icelandic brewery, and I’ve tried most of their beers at this point, so it was nice to see something I wasn’t as familiar with.
