Appearance: Arrives amber colored with a dang impressive head; nice stickage and plenty of lacing action
Smell: Pine and mint aromatics
Taste: Not much of a malt presence as the hops take over, bringing the pine and mint tones; relatively dry finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation
Overall: A big, minty DIPA with some dank qualities; pretty nice

poured amber orange with a strong head out of a 12oz can. a little over a month old; dated with a sharpie on the bottom, cute :) grassy citrucy fresh nose. thick bodied, but balanced with tart juicy somewhat bitter hops. smooth finish. very pleasant fresh double ipa.

This one was a bit of a surprise for me. Living in the Boston I realize now I may have been spoiled by all of the amazing NE Ipa's. Philadelphia is tougher with most of the good beer being brought in from elsewhere and there is little emphasis on amazing LOCAL beer. With that I have been searching and searching for something amazing and local and found this little oddball can at the Foodery in Philadelphia. The guy at the register didn't even recognize it and thought it was a can of soda at first.
As for the beer it Pours a hazy deep orange with a half finger of head. Smells really nice with tropical fruits and a mild herbaceous quality...very nice. The taste follows suit with a touch of dryness and a medium mouthfeel. I haven't seen this around since and that is a shame. It's not the best beer I've had but I wouldn't mind keeping a few of these in the fridge once in a while.

The CANQuest (tm) has been shortchanged by the Bottle Backlog here at Chez Woody for a while, but things are starting to get back on track. The Round Guys asked me, "Hey, Bro. Woody, for our next DIPA, would you prefer one more acidic or less so?" Debaser of the two!
From the CAN: "Here come your hops. Gigantic. Overtaking a wave of caramel flavored hops. Piney pine & grapefruity grapefruit-resin-y hop machine. Medium body, Scotty's theme. Debaser's gone to heaven, muddled up against a hopeless galatea of cloudy spun, ever rotating hop bud spheres[.]"
The Crack! revealed a brimful craft CAN and my excitement could hardly be CANtained! A gentle Glug in keeping with the relative age of the CAN raised a finger of foamy, tawny head that quickly sat back down. Color was Deep Amber/Light Copper to Copper (SRM = > 13, < 17) with NE-quality clarity. Nose smelled strongly of mint, almost menthol in its intensity. My sinuses thank you for that! Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, not quite creamy. The taste was of spearmint, peppermint, wintergreen & pine. OMFG! I love a minty (D)IPA! This was really up my alley & down my gullet. An inhalation after every sip was like a hit on my inhaler! Did they use malt? Whaddya, some kinda sacrilegious freak? Who cares?!? It was heavily minty & eminently drinkable. Actually, at 7.7% ABV, that may not be a good thing. This went down as easily and as smoothly as a $20 hooker. Whoops! Maybe I'd better lay back on this kinda stuff for a while. What's on deck, honey? Ninja vs. Unicorn? Perfect! The new doll is a definite upgrade. Finish was minty fresh, clean as a lager and refreshing as a breeze in the spring.

A thanks to the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a cloudy, dark golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits. Taste is tropical fruits, a bit of grapefruit, some alcohol, a touch of malts, light bitterness. Feels medium/full in the mouth and overall a good beer, but not the hop bomb I expect from this style.
