Our #1 Selling Imperial IPA! A fan favorite for many reasons. Maybe it's the art, but more likely it's the deep drawn out hop character with flavors like orange blossom, and more!

Good westie with nice mouthfeel, medium hoppiness, a lighter, subdued pineappley/fruityish/slightly citrusy flavor and a clean, crisp, quick-fading aftertaste. Very quaffable.

Poured into a narrow imperial pint glass: color is straw gold with slight chill haze, head is off white with fine/frothy bubbles, head presents nearly two fingers thick and lingers well with thick, solid top and lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is light citrus and tropical forward but notable malt backing, slight booziness.
Taste is more forward light citrus and moderate malt with some honey and biscuit, light booziness and grape sweetness.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness, some lingering presence on tongue with drying.
Overall a very good DIPA that gets better as it warms, abv is hidden well.

From a 32oz crowler, filled 4/18, into a pint glass.
Pours an amberish deep yellow color with about a half finger of white head. Mild head retention, no lacing to speak of.
Smells of a mixture of tropical and citrus fruits. Picking up some orange, grapefruit and pineapple. A little bit of dankness as well as alcohol on the nose. Not surprising at 9.4 abv.
Taste definitely follows the nose although the dankness isn't as pronounced. Some sweet fruits and a bit of alcohol hotness but not off-putting.
Mouthfeel is just a hair thin but some noticeable stickiness-probably the thickest IPA I've had from Round Guys. Carbonation is just right and a nice bitter/sweet aftertaste.
Overall, this one is a winner. Glad to have a bunch of ounces left in the crowler.

Canned on 01/14/19.
Enjoyed on 01/29/19.
L. Sightly hazy light tan to dull orange, white small head of various sizes bubbles. Looks like some really dirty dishwater. +1.
S. Lemon, orange, pine, leafy green bitterness and some honey sweetness.
T. Bready, mango, orange, grassy, piney, citrus pith, dull honey, some wet dankness, grassy zesty bitterness in the end.
F. Medium leaning toward a full body, lower carbonation, a bit sticky in the end, no real warming from the 9.6% abv.
O. While the flavors aren't blasting forth, they are quite righteous which makes for quite the easy drinker. The 4-pack was super afforable for the quality, so i look forward to trying more Round Guys. Dude, Cheers ! ! !

16 ounce can poured into a tulip glass. They had a very large, clearly printed label slapped on the can that said "CANNED: 10/24/18". Good on them for being open & upfront. If only everyone else would follow.
L---Hazy, dark golden color. Small head left good lacing.
S---Fruity as balls, very tropical. Mango, pineapple, papaya & more.
T---A real tropical fruit juice bomb. If I tasted this blind, I'd be as likely to guess fruit juice as beer. 9.6 ABV isn't well hidden, it's completely hidden. Pineapple, papaya & mango are the noticeable fruits. Perhaps a bit too sweet.
F---Wet & juicy. Medium mouthfeel.
O---Although it's categorized as an American Imperial IPA here and the can says, "Double India Pale Ale", I would call it an NEIPA, but who's going to quibble? This was a really good beer, but perhaps a bit on the sweet side for me. This has actually inspired me to look up the brewery and see about a visit there since it's about 15-20 minutes from my house.

On draft at the brewery, in tulip glass
Opaque hazy yellow color, thin white head. Big aroma of citrus fruit and pine resin. Taste is fairly fruity, but bitter. Not much malt flavor. Softer mouthfeel.

16 oz can poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint.
Appearance
Hazed out, milky straw blonde. Very little head.
Nose
White grapefruit, mango, papaya, candy sugar, peach, and passion fruit.
Taste
Mango, passion fruit, and peach rings. White grapefruit juice and candied tangerine. Candy sugar and oats. Finishes with pine resin, grapefruit zest, and dank.
Mouthfeel
Medium-plus bodied, silky, smooth, and juicy with a medium-light bitterness.
Overall
It has a little extra lingering bitterness that it could do without, but otherwise it's a good representation of the New England IPA style.
