16 ounce can poured into a tulip glass.

L---A fairly gentle poured resulted in a freaking massive head. Like the glass was two thirds foam and one third beer. Opaque, Amber color. The head had pretty good staying power and left ok lacing.

S---Spicy rye and fruity hops.

T---Follows the nose, but hops become more prominent. Tropical fruits and mild rye.

O---Not as good as I was hoping from a favorite brewery. Oh well, Round Guys can't hit a home run every time up.

F---Lighter than expected. As the MASSIVE head implies, very well carbonated.

Can acquired in a trade. Living in New England, I don't have much opportunity to sample products brewed by Round Guys. Wish that weren't the case since I found this product to be a fine example of a rather uniquely tasting Rye Ale that would merit future purchases. Hoping it's not just a seasonal, I'll be looking for it on my next trip to eastern PA.

16 oz can poured into a shaped IPA glass.

Appearance
Deep golden. Cloudy yeast galaxy. 2 fingers loose white head. Light carbonation.

Nose
Wintergreen, rye, mango, honey, and caramel.

Taste
Spicy rye, bubblegum, grapefruit zest, and wintergreen. Light dankness, pine sap, and mango. Firm honey and caramel maltiness. Finishes with lingering rye and pine.

Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, crisp, smooth, off-dry, and lightly bitter.

Overall
Very nice Rye Pale Ale. Sweet, spicy, juicy, and oh-so-smooth.
