On draft at the brewery in a mug
Dark Amber, clear, white head. Aroma is hot and boozy. Not very sweet for the style, the depth of malt flavor is a but thin. Dry aftertaste. Medium bodied.
I really like English barleywines but unfortunately this one misses the mark a bit. I was hoping for something with a ton of toffee and caramel flavor like JW Lees.
