Looks like a milky lemonade with a field of tiny bubbles that leave no head.

There are two layers of smells here. Beneath is some ambiguous tart fruit. Not exactly green apple or pineapple, yet somewhere in between. On top is a doughy yeast that reminds me a bit of bread dough and whole wheat toast.

Tastes quite similar with a touch more lime and watermelon, and even a touch of celery. The doughiness fades to more of a milky character. There's a nice blend here.

Feels clean but a touch heavy with a lively but easy-going carbonation.

This is a fantastic beer, but way better on tap. This was reviewed out of the can.

12 oz. bottle into chalice.

A- A very interesting color. A golden color with some purplish hues. A bit milky looking. Effervescent, as well in the head. Leaving rings of white lacing.

S- Fruity. Lacto-acidity. Citrus.

T- Lemon, a bit of grape notes.

M- Tangy, tingly carbonation. Tart and crisp.

O- Flavor is pretty good, but the look is off.

Poured into a standard pint glass: color is pale straw, very light, translucent with some haze; head quickly dissipates but expected on a light, dry ale.

Smell is potent, big funk from the lacto, horseblanket and cheese are overpowering but delightful.

Taste is mouth puckering sour, like a less sweet but acid lemonade. Citrus flavors are there, but combined with a light biscuit and toast flavor that is nothing like the aroma - very enjoyable.

Mouthfeel is a zinger, puckering sour but a nice sweetness to balance. Sourness is enjoyable and powerful.

Overall, a great berliner weisse - the aroma is so unique but a great quality that allows you to understand this beers progression from fermentation.
