Visited with Da Boss for lunch on 7-27-25.
Vibe inside and out was really good. The inside is spacious with a game room and TV for kids of all ages. The bar is set up for taking beer and food orders with two registers. There were tables throughout the indoor space in which the building is maybe 90 feet deep. There was a swag station and beers to go cooler. The back porch gives respite to the sun and allows for a breeze. Down the steps there is a walkway that runs along the local river branch and is lined with tables. Not sure if there is an outdoor music venue.
Quality of the beers are very good as well. I enjoyed two pours of the Slam IPA and Da Boss had a 7 Clans Blonde Ale which she said was really fresh. I am currently enjoying the Espresso Stout in which i bought a sixer to go.
Service was hit and miss. One cashier was friendly while the other was not. Food took 1/2 hour plus to come out of the kitchen.
Selection of Frog Level and 7 clans was very good with a variety of styles covered.
Food was hit and miss. The brisket sandwich i had was excellent as the meat was chopped and mixed with onion and light BBQ. Da Boss Smashburger and Coleslaw was pretty ho-hum. My fries were just okay.
Overall, a wonderful experience to just hand. Great summertime hang if you have a breeze going.

Cool hole in the wall type place. Stopped by on a whim, glad I did.
Beers I had were all very enjoyable. Had one the best scotch ales I've had in awhile. Bartenders were also cool people, friendly and helpful. And the selection they had running was good to scratch whatever itch you may have. Certainly worth dropping by this place for some good beers, plus they're veteran owned (I believe) and its always nice to support our vets.

I was here right around 5 so the place is probably a lot more hopping later in the evening. You're vibe value may vary.
The place is very nice inside and the brewing area is easy to see. There are lots of tables inside and there is a huge sitting area out back with a nice view of the river. I liked the beers I tried and they were very well made. They did appear a bit cloudy, but I like that, some people may not. It really doesn't affect the flavor at all. Service was good and prompt. An nice place off the beaten path if you happen to make it to Waynesville.

Wife and I stopped in on our way from the Smokies to Asheville. On a back street in Waynesville, NC - funky repurposed industrial building in an up-and-coming artsy part of town. Ample parking right cross the street. Tiny, tiny storefront is deceptive - the building is quite deep and has a deck and streamside (!) seating out back. Long, narrow entryway (decorated with a cornhole game and comfy-looking upholstered chairs) opens into the bar/seating area, followed by the production floor on the left, followed by the outdoor deck AND did I mention the awesome seating area on the banks of their backyard stream? Too cool.
Dog-friendly. There was a dog in the ladies' bathroom (according to my wife), a dog on the deck, and another dog on its way in while we were heading out (all accompanied, of course). All of them seemed to be having a heck of a good time.
If I had a criticism, I'd suggest a little more lighting - it was pretty murky inside, even at 5:00 pm.

Loving the decks - and the fact that they stay local with their ingredients if possible. Live Music, great beer, friendly staff!

Great little spot in a part of town that is ripe for growth. Surrounded by antique shops, this is a great brewpub with an awesome vibe. You walk in down a long hallway with cornhole games set up, and the room opens up, with a bar on the left hand side, in front of the brewing equipment visible through windows, and tabled seating on the left. Out the back is a nice, wide open deck, with additional picnic tables on the banks of a small creek. Really great feel indoors and outside. The head man was working the bar when we stopped in, and it was really great to talk to him. He apologized for only having 3 current tap offerings, as they were preparing for an upcoming weekend event, as well as future plans to can, and possible remodeling for some new, larger brewing equipment they were purchasing. Good to hear a place like this is growing already! The beers we were able to try were good, and I really hope this place has continued success. Definitely worth the trip if you are in the Asheville region.

The wife and I (and the dogs) visited Frog Level on a trip between Asheville and Tennessee. It was a bit random, but basically right along our route, and I'm glad we had the opportunity.
Frog Level has a nice setup. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, with lots of standing room, a game area, and a good medium sized bar. There is also a very pleasant outside seating area in the back, with a deck and a couple picnic tables on the grass, adjacent to a small creek. Dog-friendly. We got there just as they were opening, so there was no crowd, just one loner at the bar, and I believe the owner was tending the bar. He was a good guy, friendly and knowledgeable, and seemed in tune with the beer scene in general.
Beer selections were pretty basic, and there were only 5 to choose from, but everything was decent. Everything I had, I would definitely try again, with the rye ale being the weakest link. They don't serve food, but they allow outside food, and I'm pretty sure there is a restaurant or café right next door.
I doubt I'd ever find myself in the Waynesville, NC, area again, but if I do, I'd definitely try to sync up my trip to match Frog Levels hours and pop in for another visit.
