Bottle to mug, the appearance was a slightly dark amber color with a film of a little white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Sly stringy lace. The aroma had some roasted nuts, sly caramel/toffee base, some herbal qualities, slight grassy/earthy hops and a mild clean butterscotch at the end. The flavor was mildly sweet through the blend of the prior mentioned aromas. Aftertaste was clean yet subtle through the herbal qualities, hops and malts. Not much of a finish, slightly earthy, somewhat. The feel was just a tad under medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, pretty good Irish red ale.

A very good representation of the Irish Red style. Malty with the right touch of hops. A very good session beer.
