The appearance was a dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Sly roaming lace. The aroma had some milk and dark chocolate, mild roast, some coffee beans, some woodiness, chestnuts, toast and dark bread. The flavor mildly blended the roast to the sweet pretty nice. Lingering aftertaste of the blend. Finished somewhat dry and roasty with the sweetness balancing fairly nice. The palate was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, probably 3 Guys’ best beer. I’d have this one again.
