On the Goldhawk Road - 12 mins walk from Goldhawk Road tube (Hammersmith and City line) and 5 mins walk from Stamford Brook (District line). Also on at least one bus route, but didn't pay too much attention having walked between the 2 tube stations.
Large corner building dating from the 1920's at a guess
2 large rooms and a patio area/beer garden at the rear
Nicely furnished, wooden floors and a roaring fire in the front room
Onto the business end ...
6 hand pulled cask ales and 10 gravity dispense
On my most recent visit (20th Dec 2011) offerings from the following breweries:- Titanic, Windsor & Eton, Hogs Back, Downton (Chimera), Marlow, Adnams and others
Locale seemed a theme here
Also a couple of Brewdog offerings on the keg lines
In the fridge there were 20 to 30 beers at a quick count including offerings from the US, Germany and Belgium along with half a dozen from Brewdog
Reasonably priced for London and CAMRA members get a 50p discount per pint (as per their sister pub - The Bree Louise)
The food looked excellent having viewed some folks dining, pies are a speciality and bar snacks looked interesting including beer battered black pudding for £3!!!
Check the website for details but they are constructing a 6 barrell plant on site and plan to brew their own beers come the new year
Excellent venue on my 2 visits to date, look forward to returning in the new year when the brewing operation is up and running
