Aroma: herbs, dough, somewhat yeasty Appearance: golden, too much clear for a unfiltered weizen Taste: above average bitterness and thin, light body for a weizen. Average carbonation with bitter finish. Overall: low-average weizen, with too much biterness for a weizen.

Note: this is a new version of the Sovina wheat beer from Os Três Cervejeiros. The old version had 4.4% ABV and this one has 5.8% ABV, and they'll stick with this new version from now on.
A: Transparent yellow with a well carbonated body with big sprinkles. Nice head.
S: Yeasty with some banana and maybe peach.
T: The great difference I see with the old version is the taste. The new Sovina Trigo tastes more like a Hefeweizen than a Weißbier.
M: Now you can feel the jump from the 4.4% ABV to 5.8% ABV. This 1.4% ABV added to the beer is more proeminent than the components on the taste.
O: It's a big improvement and it's almost a brand new beer with the same name as before. It reminds me of those tv ads on 4am comparing 'before' and 'after'. This is a very good beer only loosing on its smell.
