Bottle in Porto. Pours golden with white head. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Taste and aroma is of grain, yeast, bready malt and grassy hops. Long dry finish. Nice brew.

Review notes based on the BJCP 2008 guidelines. Aroma: DMS dominates the grain, malt and hop aroma. No spicy hop aromas present. Appearance: Pale orange with poor head and poor retention. Taste and palate: Very thin body, with a low malty palate. No hop flavour and no fruity esters present. Very low carbonation and no adstringency. Overall: a very poor example of a Helles.

A: Pours a cloudy yellow tone with a reasonable one inch thick head that is lost quite quickly.
S: The aroma is actually very interesting on wheat and other malts, giving it a very grain forward tone that you'd expect from a good lager.
T: Taste starts off with the sugary contents incoming from the grain, having a big part on the flavour profile and then moves out to a very low tone on the hops providing a crisp drinkability.
M: Body is medium to low. Alcohol is unnoticeable. Sweetness is mild. Bitterness is low.
O: This is still a very interesting beer from Sovina. Glad I had it again after 7 years.

A: Pours a clean transparent yellow and with almost no carbonation, even with my insistence to get some head, it disappeared right way. No lacing, no thickness, no head.
S: I can smell a noble beer. Pear and peach, mixed together with a beautiful german yeast.
T: A slightly hoppy with a bit of peach.
M: Way too low carbonation, it tends to heat during the mouth and even though you can feel some cool bitterness, your mouth won't get dry.

O: It's a noble beer. It's sad to have this beer like this because I've had it before with some awesome carbonation. Maybe the long troubled trip resented the beer on its quality.
