650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Golden clear body with way too much foam. Overflows the glass. How annoying.
Smell - Vanilla. Light stone fruit, which I guess is apricot. A lot of white wine.
Taste - Again, lots of white wine. Oak. Apricot is a little more distinct. Kinda creamy and sweet. Kind of a yeasty bitterness in the back end.
Mouthfeel - Creamy. Not as carbonated as I thought. Medium body.
Overall - Very winey. Interesting and unexpected creaminess.

Pours golden, with a frothy, belgian head, typical of the style.
On the nose, very fruity, some funk in the background (I let this bottle age a little bit) which is subtle. The apricots come through on the nose nicely.
Taste and mouthfeel is where this beer shines! The wine barrel and apricot mask what could be a "boozy" beer. Hardly any alcohol taste, and very pleasing to the palette.
I highly recommend this beer. I had it "new" then aged a bottle for 6 months, and found that it aged well, with a slight bit of funk. It could sour over time, which may make it more complex. I throughly enjoyed it.
