an ipa featuring the el dorado hop, tap room only from what they tell me. its a cool brew, but maybe too in balance, not as heavy on the el dorado, not as pronounced as some, but another great beer made with this increasingly popular hop. quite a pale beer, not much darker than golden, but it definitely has a little body to it under the full inch of fluffy white head. limes always come to mind from this hop, but here its more tame, not so citrusy and punchy, more of a tropical medley that includes pineapple for sure, although there isnt much sweetness in the flavor. an oily expression of this hop than i am used to, very west coast in nature, very tasty. good bitterness too, and mostly a pale two row malt base it seems, although there is quite a bit of body to this for it being on the lower alcohol side. very fresh and flavorful, but could probably be a little more interesting. in the end its nice beer, but i like their other hoppy stuff quite a bit better than this one. its just not quite as versatile, but its as well made as all the rest of their work, which is to say its of extremely high quality...
