Dark brown in color with no light penetration. There’s a half inch of creamy beige on top. There’s light lacing on the glass. The aroma is oatmeal, caramel, and vanilla. I’m tasting oatmeal, caramel, and vanilla. The mouth is dry and lightly dense.

Pours an effervescent cola color with 2 fingers of sandy colored head. Nice head retention & lacing
S: Some toastyness, vanilla. Fades & turns tea-like once warm
T: Vanilla. toastyness & oatmeal cookie up front, A little, Little Debby cookie creeps in but not enough, taste more like some sad hippie take on the style. Finishes a little dry with hints of oatmal cookie, leafy hops & dry woody notes
MF: Light/medium body, mid-range to aggressive carbonation, gets weak over time
This could've done with so much more malt. Could've been so much more with a plus up on some malt bill, Not bad, but not near good

16oz can. Poured out a dark brown color with a small, tan head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of chocolate, vanilla, toffee and bready malt. Sweet chocolate, nutmeg, vanilla and toffee taste. Really a great cookie-like taste.

Appearance: Deep dark, almost black brew. Slight lacing.
Aroma: Roasty, nutty, cocoa and vanilla. Very nice.
Taste: Malty, with plenty of cocoa and vanilla. Nicely-balanced with a little touch of hop bitterness at finish. Lovely beer and very enjoyable.
