Courage is a triple IPA brewed with HBC 342, Lemon Drop, Motueka, and Mosaic hops and aged on American oak spirals. Stone fruit, citrus, and tropical fruit dominate the aroma with notes of vanilla and oak lingering in the background.

Copper colored with a massive 2 inch creamy dense brown head on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of woodsy oak and piney and tropical hops with notes of pineapple. I'm tasting a fantastic blend of woodsy oak, piney and tropical hops with flavors of pine, overripe pineapple and mango. The mouth is bone dry, with plenty of warmth of alcohol.

Pours an effervescent & hazed amber/honey color with 2 fingers of cream colored head. Great lacing & head retention, seems hazed through out
S: Super cakey, mango
T: Follows the noses, guava & bread fruit as well up front, pretty dry. Much mango & a little guava & pineapple as this warms, along with orange & grapefruit pith. Finishes with mango, guava, grapefruit, a little oaky boozeyness
MF: Medium body, lively carbonation, superb balance
Super DIPA, pretty drinkability despite the complexity & ABV, get it if you can!

On tap. Poured a clear, golden amber color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of citrus, sweet fruits, vanilla and toffee. Sweet citrus and caramel with vanilla, oak and a sharp bitterness.

Pours a foggy burnt orange with two fingers of off white head. Head retention is good, with a few lace strings hanged about. Aroma is lively with spicy, herbal, and resin hops give a sticky aroma. A little oak shows up as well. Flavor profile is hoppy, with notes of spicy, herbal, and resin hops. Spicy hops open and close the show. Oak intermingles, but plays a minor role. Mouth feel is medium-thick, with a little filling graininess to it. Overall, a robust IPA, particularly as it warms. The spicy and herbal hops are a welcome swap from most heavy IPA hop profiles. Very pleasant and smooth.

Poured into a tulip, pours an orange, rusty copper, deep colors. Has awesome carbonation and amazing smell. Floral and fruity, not hoppy at all, but when you get it in your mouth, you feel the hops. It's exactly what a triple IPA should be. It scrapes your tongue from the outside in up to the middle. Hops sit on your tongue for several minutes after.
All around it's a great beer and another great beer from 4hands. Worth every penny and I'm glad to have a few more in the fridge.
