Overheard a conversation about this one. "It's just another IPA, not worth the time." Was a little worried but at least that guy was only half right. It's just another IPA, but a damn good one. Pours a slightly hazed orange with a fluffy three finger head that left slowly and with some faint lacing. Scents of grapefruit and pine from the hops come through, hints of wheat catch up on the end. Taste is the same but stronger, lots of bitter citrus notes ie. grapefruit and orange, with a good amount of piney flavors and some wheat and a malty sweetness very subtly keeping things in check. Medium body, bordering on full mouth coating but not quite, super drinkable for 8%. Nothing above and beyond but well balanced and shouldn't be passed by.

Brilliant gold colored with an inch of densely packed eggshell white. Moderate lacing. The aroma is citrus, pine, and pale wheat. The taste is sharply bitter pine to vegetal hops with a light dose of pale wheat blending with light malt. The mouth is fairly smooth and quaffable for the amount of alcohol, but I'm betting that where the oatmeal factors in.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle on July 21, 2017. A juicy, fruity hazy wheat IPA that looks and mostly tastes the part. This has a little more bitterness than one might expect. It's fine for my tastes, but may not appeal to everyone.

Aroma is tropical fruit, hops and a hint of bread/white bread. The flavor is slightly sweet tropical fruit, malts, citrus and a mix of hoppy and tart/sour in the finish.
