The popular Pale Wheat Ale first arrived in 2012. It pours bright orange and is full of big citrus off the nose. The hop profile includes “copious” amounts of Pacific Northwest Hops and is dry hopped with fresh orange zest. The new variant is JUICED up with tangerine juice and zest, giving it a big citrusy aroma and crisp hop.

Hazy gold with lots of suspended particulate, one finger head. The aroma is lemon, tangerine, orange, grapefruit with some white bread malt. After smelling, I would have believed this is lightly lacto soured, it's got a hint of that lemon tart quality on the nose. There is just a hint of acidity in the flavor, but not enough to call it tart. The flavor is a base of light bready malt with citrus zest and fruit. Dry with a light bitterness. Mouthfeel is moderate, thicker than I would expected. The finish is dry and the carbonation high.

Appearance: Hazy amber, with a huge off-white head and light lacing. Some floaties (sediment) here.
Aroma: Citrus and tropical fruits yes! Orange and tangerine coming through.
Taste: Super-juicy. Tangy citrus and tropical fruits. A delicious fruit-packed wheat brew.

Beer has what I assume is fruit pulp floating in it. Though I discovered after purchase that the beer is not the freshest, so who knows. Smells like oranges and hops and malt. Thin body and not as juicy as expected, but still good. Finished with a mild bitter, pith at the end. Would love to get out fresh and taste the difference.

Pours hazy, golden orange in color with minimal head. Taste is orange juice, lemon, and melon. Light bodied, slightly bitter, and slightly bitter. An ok beer could do or pass.
