From a can, this brew is a dark, gold amber color...not exactly red. The head is thick, dense, and soapy. The smell is malty, with a bit of juicy fruity hop notes. The taste is flavorful and well-balanced. Malt forward and wonderfully flavorful.

Pours a clear, burnt orange with a thin, swirl of an off-white head.
Big pine resin smell upon opening. Sticky citrus hops as well. Lots of malt backing.
Taste follows nose in which the candied citrus stood out more than expected. Lots of resin runs up the nose.
Medium Mouthfeel.
Wonderful wet hop.

Look is a burnt amber hue.
Foamy off white head falls to a soapy cap that lasts thru out. Lacing is minimal, oily and thin.
Smells of bready malts & spicey hops.
Taste follows nose. Bready malt sweetness followed up by spicey hop bitterness. Flavors of burnt orange, piney citrus and a touch of banana maybe.
Feel is thinner than expected. Medium carbonation. Starts off spicey then finishes juicy.

Copper colored with a fingernail of beige around the rim and covering most of the top. Light lacing is present. The aroma is of a light amount of pine and caramel. The piney hop flavor leads the way and there’s also some caramel malt. The mouth is is light and dry.

Had on tap. Full of citrus in the hop work of this red ale. The grapefruit especially come out to bond well with the red ale biscuit malts. Little thin for the style, almost more like a red ipa than a red ale.

Aroma is grapefruit and medium sugar/sweetness. The flavor is grapefruit, tropical fruit, malts, slight sweetness and a complex wet hop/mild hop rest finish.

Tasted in a Rastal Craft Master glass from a 12 fl oz can on September 28, 2018. Look is clear ruby red with a thin tan head. Smell is caramel malt and citrus with a hint of pine resin. Taste is caramel and sweet citrus fruit. Feel is light to medium in body with a slightly bitter finish.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, ruby color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel, citrus and hints of pine. Sharp bitterness with toasted caramel and sweet citrus punch.
