Forgot to rate when I had it. On draft at International Tap House - St. Louis, 02/01/2020.
Wow, very impressed with the nose, really getting cherry cordial aromas. Palate falls a little flat in terms of mouthfeel, but that milk chocolate cherry flavor really comes through accurately. A tasty beer.

Pours an effervescent chestnut hued mahogany with near zero head, what little there was, was tan colored. Trace amounts of head retention & no lacing to speak of
S: A little chocolate & iron
T: Some cherry, dryness & chocolate up front. Some iron mixes in as this warms, along with Maraschino Cherry, faint leafy hops and light chocolate notes as this warms. Finishes dry with iron & a little chocolate & cherry
MF: Medium body with slight carbonation
Was expecting more from this one, one & done. Might work as a dessert beer, not so much a just a beer to enjoy as a standalone

Appearance is opaque jet brown with a khaki head of foam. Smell really does bring out a chocolate and cherry combo with some light cream. Taste is very sweet upfront with malt and lactose cream lingering after cherry and chocolate. Lighter in feel, but thicker than others in the series, still creamy. Lighter dessert stout

22oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It actually smelled like a chocolate covered cherry. Sweet chocolate and cherry flavor. Very little bitterness. Very much a dessert beer.

Black in color with minimal light penetration. There’s a fingernail of beige around the rim and barely present elsewhere. The aroma is of lactose, chocolate and just a hint of cherries. I’m tasting lactose, some faint chocolate, and an undercurrent of faint cherries. I thought the cherries might overpower this one and I think they weren’t aggressive enough with them. The mouth seems a touch watery as opposed to smooth and silky.
