On tap. Poured out a clear golden-yellow color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of classic West Coast hops - piney and floral. Sweet toasted caramel with a piney bitterness.

Golden hued with excellent clarity. There’s a fingernail of dishwater white around the rim and covering almost all of the top. Heavy lacing. The aroma is of pine. I’m tasting pine with a suggestion of overripe pineapple. The mouth is lightly resinous and crisp.

its sold in a 2 pack, get it. was happy to see a regular ol ipa from 4 hands come around, and this does the trick. pours a bit lighter color than the normal, a crisp clear golden yellow that some lagers would be jealous of. nose is a lot of zesty citrus rind, a hint of grass and pine and sweet caramel malts poking through. flavor starts with a smooth sweetness that flows into the citrus, which has a more grapefruit with a hint of lemon zest vibe here. light earthiness and pine flavors come in and a hop bitterness evolves over time and lingers. its all a tad subdued but tasty and refreshing, pretty solid old school ipa which is what they promised. good good stuff
