Black in color with minimal light penetration. No head. The aroma is of lactose and boysenberries. I’m tasting boysenberries, lactose, port, vanilla, and bourbon. The mouth is thick, lightly chewy and dry.

22oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of boysenberry, chocolate, toffee and sweet port. Nice berry taste with toffee, chocolate, oak and some port-like sweetness.

This beer was poured from a tall, dark bottle. Enjoyed with some toasted ravs, while watching the Blues. Thick and black in color with a tall and lasting creamy head. Wow...nice looking beer. Spice and dark malts in the aroma. The taste is warm, sharp, and spicy. Dark and intense. Full body.
