Black in color with just a trace of light seeping through when held up to light. There’s a fingernail of brown around the rim and covering half of the top. The aroma is of milk chocolate, coffee, vanilla and lactose. The pretty much nailed it. The mouth is smooth and silky.

22oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of chocolate, toffee and vanilla. Sweet chocolate and caramel taste with vanilla and some roasty coffee flavors.

 

 

 

From a specialty box of desert beers, this stout is poured from a tall thick bottle. It is a super dark brew, with a relatively thin head. The aroma is just like the smell of the Italian desert, tiramisu. It smells of chocolate, malty cake, coffee, and a bit of sweet booze. The taste is similar...balanced a bit sweet, with plenty of desert flavors. Full in body and satisfying. I really liked this one.
