Black in color with no penetration to light. There’s a fingernail of brown around the rim and covering a third of the top. The aroma is of cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon, and a suggestion of cherry. I’m tasting cinnamon, vanilla, cacao, and a touch of cherries. The mouth is smooth and viscous.

22oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, tan head of bubbly foam. It smelled of chocolate, vanilla and subtle cherry notes. Sweet chocolate and toffee with hints of vanilla and cherry.

This tall bottle came from a mixed three-pack of dessert beers. This one is utterly dark, with a slim head. The aroma is sweet...vanilla and cream...but also some misplaced licorice. The beer is balanced, but has enough sweet smells that it fools your buds. The body is full and the overall experience is enjoyable.
