Pours black with two fingers of light tan foam. Aroma is heavy toffee, sugar, cookie dough, lactose, and mild white chocolate. It hits hard, punching out a list of sweet notes. The sugary start is undercut by salty soy sauce. Flavor profile is a little more balanced, although decidedly still focused on sweetness. Toffee, caramel syrup, cookie dough, white chocolate, and lactose all team up to create a sugary dessert of a flavor profile. Some faint roasty and toasty malts add support and structure, but it's faint. Late green bell pepper adds some astringent bitterness. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a velvety start that bubbles down to a still, smooth, glossy finish. Overall, it provides the notes the beer name would suggest. It's not quite as smooth as a warm toffee cookie, but it hits the key notes along the way.

I am trying this beer off the tapper on the second floor of the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with ecru ring head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had maple notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with maple granola presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

Pours a chestnut tinged mahogany with one pinky of tan head. Not much head retention or lacing
S: Toffee, caramelized sugar, vanilla
T: Follows the nose, dryness & little baker's chocolate up front. Some coffee notes and a little cinnamon mixes in with super sugar molasses flavor as this warms up. Finishes a little dry with mostly watery coffee with cinnamon
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, thins out as it warms
Kind of falls apart once warm, body is lacking & nose doesn't hold up, flavor tails off as well

On draft at International Tap House Columbia. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of toffee, caramel and sweet chocolate. Sweet toffee taste with caramel, chocolate and a mild bitterness.

This beer was all smell, no taste. It turned to tasteless water once it hit my palate. I love 4 hands and their milk stout is terrific. This promised so much and delivered so little. Actually undrinkable.

Black in color with minimal light penetration. There’s a fingernail of brown around the rim and covering most of the top. The aroma is of toffee and lactose. I’m tasting toffee, caramel, and lactose. The mouth is silky smooth.

Draft. Huge toffee on the nose with coffee roast. Smells very sweet. Tastes way too sweet honestly. Kind of ridiculous. Flavor is fucked thanks to it.
