Pours black with two fingers of mocha foam. Aroma is caramel right from the moment the can is popped open. Coconut comes on heavy afterwards, dominating the second half of the aroma. Hearty cookie crumbles sit underneath, they're clearly bold, but are simply out weighed by the ferocity and intensity of caramel and coconut. Chocolate, and faint roasty and toasty malts round it out in the nose. It leans hard into sweetness, coming up empty later in the nose - feeling a little hollow. Flavor profile is driven by coconut, with caramel and cookie an after thought. It never leans quite as hard into sugary dessert notes as the nose, and part of that credit should be given to the coconut. Coconut sits around ~70% raw, 30% toasted, giving it a more gritty, hairy texture. Chocolate, lactose, and faint roasty malts round out the flavor profile. This is a dessert beer through and through, delivering on the label. Mouth feel is medium-thin with a still effervescence. It carries a very fine silt texture that adds some elevation to the otherwise thin consistency. Overall, a dessert stout, which is to be expected, but the balance is tipped to far out of balance to be a smooth drinking experience.
Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 16oz can.

I am trying this beer off the tapper as part of a four sample flight in the upstairs area of the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with thin ecru ring head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had sweet malt and coconut notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with caramel, coconut and granola presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, inky black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the snifter. It smelled of flaked coconut, lots of caramel, some chocolate and toffee. The coconut flavor was fairly mild with a huge caramel backbone. Some chocolate was present, too.

Not retired, renamed as far as I can tell
Pours an effervescent hazel color with 3 fingers of mocha colored head. Minimal head retention & lacing
S: Coconut, vanilla, cocoa
T: Toasty coconut, cocoa, dryness, a little bit of a roasty edge up front. Vanilla, cocoa & roastyness along with dryness as this warms, maybe just a little caramel as well. Finishes dry, toasty with vanilla & coconut notes
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation
Solid effort, but didn't love it

Black in color with minimal light penetration. There’s an inch of creamy brown on top. The aroma is of a lot of coconut and some caramel. I taste a lot of coconut and a bit of caramel and chocolate. The mouth is dry and lightly chalky.

The pour was very thick with perfect carbonation that foamed a thick and dark cream head much like an Irish stout. The smell was fantastic with very distinguishing scents of caramel, coconut, and chocolate. The taste was very smooth with the same flavors in the smell. The feel was on the thicker side of medium and a little syrupy. Overall this was a really fun beer, and if were available more I would purchase more.
