Black in color with no light penetration. There’s a fingernail of brown around the rim. I smell cherries, peaches, dark rum, vanilla, bourbon, and dark malt. I’m tasting brandy, peaches, cherries, vanilla, dark rum, and dark malt. The mouth is thick, chewy, and very boozy.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at The brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with tan ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had dark fruit medley with fig, date and dark cherry notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip with dark fruit pleasure. Figs, dates, dark fruit presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

On draft at ITap, CoMo. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of bourbon, rum, vanilla, oak, coffee, chocolate and sweet toffee. Boozy taste with bourbon, vanilla, chocolate and some charred oak.
